The ps2 was revealed in 99 and launched in 2000.
And Did you know if the Wii ran hard out in graphics now it would match current level Xbox 360 graphics you didnt did you?
The Wii according to How stuff works can draw the same amount of triangles per sec as the 360 whihc is 500,000 tested.
The Wii's cpu is ultra effiicient on Elecrtrcity overall the Wii uses 1 tenth of 360 electrical consuption but the cpu is also ultra efficient on Processing I dont know how but it said so on Gizmo thatn its much more efficient then 360's cpu but it cant beat it since it does not have the clock power It also said iof the 360 cpu ran at 1ghz the 905mhz wii cpu would absoultely thrash it but because the 360 has Tri core system it cant.
I also know that most peoples computers arent as powerfull as the Wii some arent even as powerfull as the Ps2 and you shouldnt say that the Wii has ps2 graphics since the numbers tell otherwise and it has only been out for 2 months wait till it gets to ps2's current age and then compare the games it will be like comparing a Ps1 game to Ps2.

6 years old then, NOT 8, the Wii graphics are 6 years old and will always be that way. While PS3 and 360 can keep up to date with better and better graphics.
