Thx so much fro posting this dude i was browsing around lookin for how to network 2 360s and i found this u saved me man ive only had mine 2 weeks now im taking it back to walmart that is bs. Also i woudlnt be able to get a new 360 cause i won mine off of pepsi.ca

I got my 360 from some website, that if you referred 36 people the the website, they would give you an Xbox 360 as a prize. I didn't believe it at first, but once I got the email, I was pretty excited.
Anyways, Domreis you say they ship fast! How much does it cost for shipping and stuff like that?

i have mine for about 7 to 8 months now i havent had any trouble with mine it does not look like any thing like that on the pic i guess it might be some that r defective cause im happy with mine

it only does that when its not properly plugged in, I personally called Nyko about it and they said that the only reported cases have come when the intercooler was not properly plugged into the xbox 360 console. dont get rid of them, just make sure they are plugged in securely

Why would the connecters MELT if it wasn't connected securely? That dosen't make any sense! I think Nyko was just trying to cover their asses by telling you that!

For those still having issues with thr nyko fan yet are looking for more or better airflow

I got one to try it, works great, quiet too.
Runs from its OWN power source not the 360, so theres abosoltely no risk involved.
XB360 hitachi xtreme f/ware, chameleon case, whisper & airflow blue led. XBOX w/ 2.6 2x custom "djboogie" bios. PSP 1.50 w/ devhook .52 % 303 f/ware.

ohh looks alright...but im buying that whisper fan that glows blue and a case theats all blue and you can see the inside on the side...and i wanna add soem of those neon lights on the side:) ill try that after though...did you get that whisper fan yet?

Nope not yet... I am trying to find out what is up with my 360 and Nyko, since my warrenty is voided, I want to know how they are goind to do for me before I crack open my 360 again!

when its not plugged in all the way things that arent supposed to touch may touch and then things that should be grounded aren't grounded and that causes shorts and can cause the two to get hot enough to melt...

I bet the wires on the Nyko product are a really small gauge, and it's wired inline, where the power cable runs thru the Nyko product. This means that when the Xbox360 is playing a game drawing full power - read high amps - the wiring in the Nyko product just fries. This is a crappy design...the fans should draw their power from their own external source, possibly a USB cable, OR Nyko should ensure that the connector and wiring can handle the full electrical load that will be transferred thru it.

You are rithg... when I took my Intercooler apart the wires were very small and They we brown and smelled like somke! HORIBLE DESGIN!

Wow,thanks alot guys! I just bought my 360 a couple weeks ago,and purchased the intercooler last week. I was just so worried from hearing all the stories about overheating 360's that I felt I needed some type of cooling unit. It sounds like my best bet may be a type of fan that you need to stand the xbox vertically for. I'm returning my intercooler today.Thanks!

my god!!! ive only had mine since like the beginning of january.. i liked it so much cuz .. well u know, it cools the system.. but way too loud. THANK YOU for telling me this. do u think a small cooling fan will help? iu know those fans where u plug in and press the button on how fast or cooler u want it to be?. mine doesnt have that cuz its those really small ones that are like size of your hand but are really cold. i have enugh space to fit it behing my xbox and everytime i play i can just turn the fan on. u think this is good enough? or mybe even better!!

Anyone know how bad the heating setup on the new revision is?
even tho I am leaning to mod it with a new case I dunno...I guess it needs to be out a month or 2 before I fool with it.

I am also going to get a Knight Black Case with red LEDs and 4 controler cases... do you know if you leave the metal top of of the 360 with the casue with a window for LEDs?
