what do u think it is? the whole thread is about changing ur icons.

and i assume u are asking about this:

Quote:

2.- Create your topmenu_plugin.rco
doubleclick the topmenu.exe in the topmenu generator folder
*choose your firmware (choosing 3.02 OE will work for 3.03 OE-A')
*now choose your icons by clicking on the "browse" button and choosing the icon your want
*after you picked out your six icons, press the "create" button
*then a folder should pop up with your custom topmenu_plugin.rco
the steps are right under it on how to create it

the topmenu is a little package that contains the icos for the psp XMB, you can create it by running the program included..self -explanatory...

first you must have an open edition firmware 2.71 se-c or 3.03 oe-c
then:

3.- Connect your PSP to your PC with the USB cable

4.- Press the R trigger and at the same time turn on you PSP, in order to work you must before take out your battery of the PSP to made sure you are coming from a hard reset and not from sleep mode

5.- You are now on recovery menu (blue background), scroll down to Advanced and press X >>> scroll down to Toggle USB (flash0) and press X >>> a box shoul pop up in your PC (removable disk)>>> open folder to view files

GRACIAS..

use rco editor to change sub menu icons, it can also be used to change normal icons and even the text, like instead of memory stick, u could change it to harddrive.

for font, use ttf2pgf

u have to dump a 2.5 firmware, because u can't use the rco's that u get directly from ur custom firmware. what i did was download a theme that someone made that contained the rcos that i could edit

to use rco editor, just go to open and select the rco, then basically u swap out icons that u created.

i don't really know how to dump a firmware, what i did was just go find some random theme someone posted online, like this

http://pspupdates.qj.net/Gears-Of-War-XMB-Theme/pg/49/aid/84807

in there there should be somes files like topmenu, impose_plugin, etc, u can edit those instead, using rco editor

make sure u bakcup ur flash first

use this guide to create ur own icons
