Anyone have problems getting on the net? As soon as I start the web browser it gave me the old "Settings are corrupted error. Press O to...". I tried hitting O but it just locked up. I tried this several times and kept running into the same error. I went back to 3.03 OE-C. Maybe DAX missed something in Sony's protection scheme.
Hopefully we can get an update if more people have this same problem.
I didnt do it... unless its something good. Then I did it. Props to DAX. He is my idol!

what u guys need to do is as soon as u upgrade to any firmware u do a system restore for the psp. that way it restores flash1 to its original state.

@maskiri
so far its been better than 3.03OE-C because of the higher resoultion video that is supported, all the customization possible in 3.03OE-C is still possible
@melton69
youll have to wait for a downgrader, dont upgrade to to official sony 3.30 UNLESS the downgrader is released for that FW

For all,
Believe me when I say I know exactly how frustrating it can be when the same question gets asked over and over again but we still need to retain a modicum of restraint and understanding for those that aren't as "forum savvy" as the rest of us. Yes, some folks are flat out lazy but considering the massive amount of information to be had here I can see where some folks with very little technical knowledge on the subject can get lost in it all. I've started using mainly Linux now and am very new to it so when I go to Linux forums for answers it sometimes doesn't take me long at all to get lost and frustrated so they're not the only ones ;)

I got it to work when I restored the system to the original state. The only thing not working now is location free player but I read that was removed to save flash space. I have tried one of my CSO's (Sims 2) and it is working fine. This forum is great.
Rock on DAX!

well first of all to downgrade from 3.03 (your lucky thats the highest downgrader) you need an unpatched copy of gta: liberty city stories. You can tell if it's unpatched by if it has a 2.00 update or not. go to http://dl.qj.net/index.php?pg=12&fid=12431&catid=114 and download the downgrader for 3.03 psp's.

hi all my Internet Service Provider(ISP) uses proxy so it seems i can't download the easy-installer from the rapidshare site. are there other links?
being the typical psp noob, i am very afraid of upgrading to 3.30 manually, fearing a bricked psp.
hi i'm a psp noob.

Hello all,
Im very new here so im sorry if my technical knowledge isnt the best atm.
I bought my psp about 3 days ago. It was running 1.5 with devhook 1.51 i could flash it up to 3.02.
I went to play rocky balboa but said i needed 3.03.
Then i came across this site and saw the 3.30 release.
So i went for it.
Everything went really well so i guess this is just for some reasurance really.
Normally when i start my psp i have to run devhook which then puts my psp up to 3.02 then when i turn it off and back on its back to 1.5
But now with the 3.30 release when i start my psp its already on 3.30 f/w (is this correct?)
All the games i had still seem to work (150 of them :))
when a new release comes out am i going to be able to go up to that f/w or if i wanted to go back to 1.5?
in other words is my psp stuck on 3.30 or have i offically updated the firmware to 3.30 (i hope not).
Sorry if i have confused anyone.
Cheers,
Watto
