I have a modded 360, but if i stop playing burned games on it, will i still be banned? If so, can i just flash using the original firmware.

dont blame C4E, if it wasnt for him, 360 scene would be here today. he tried hard as he can to impliment teh 'stealth' features of extreme FW.
not sure, my guess would be, if u still want to play live on that moded box, flash it back to org. FW and of course use org. games.

hmmm, i have 2 360's. ms25 with 'jitter fix' fw just got banned. However, I also have a ms28 that 'had' the same fw loaded but I never took it online ever. It was meant for a friend but he basically told me to eff off so long story short, I ended up eating the cost and had an extra 360 lying around. Just now reflashed the ms28 with orig.bin and I've been hearing that ms28's might not be detectable... lightbulbs are going off in my mind... my gamer tag is loading onto the ms28 console now. Maybe in a couple days if 28's aren't banned, I might load the right fw up. Here's hoping.

:D I know I was just ranting a bit but from what Im seeing people are getting banned left and right even if there consoles are not modified.

You mean my fourth little white box? Dealing with Microsoft is so love/hate. They create this great box, but it's about as reliable as a 90 year old man's dick. They steal a large amount of market share from Sony, then alienate their customers with unreliable hardware, poor support, expensive online gaming (compared to other consoles), and bannings (in effect cutting off the one revenue stream they have from people with modded systems).
We should collectively rise up and say; Thank you Microsoft for the xbox 360, now piss off.

stop with the banned posts...your not banned from playin, only on ur console thats flashed if u were to use ur gamertag on a normal console should work fine....i have one flashed 360 and one non flashed 360 i can play on my non flashed box with my gamertag but when i try an login on my modded hitachi it wont let me on......so ur not banned just ur console is.......

hello there i heard that there was some people having the same problem with the "banned" issue go to xbox-sky and read off the shout box and then read all the postings but yeah truth is that xbox is starting to banne people...

Remember Guys - Your Just BANNED on your console and not the xbox live itself.
The System has been banned from live which wont let you play on live anymore.
For Example - Another New 360 - with the same gamertag - itll work.
Get the point?

you think they are trying to convince all modded people to buy another console therefore they get like frikin twice money out of people with modded consoles.
AND ALL YOU PEOPLE SAYING A FIRMWARE UPDATE WILL FIX IT, IT SAD TO BREAK IT TO YOU THAT IT WON'T! UNLESS THE 360 GETS HACKED LIKE HELL MEANING THE HYPERVISOR AND LINUX ON ALL EVEN UPDATED ONE THEN THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANGE THEY CAN CHANGE THE MAC ADDRESS! LIKE ON THE PSP IM GUESSING!

why do all people have to scam someone to get what they want. you chose to mod your xbox, you read the terms of service, or at least agreed to them, and you knew you risked it. you got caught suck it up and quit complaining. sorry if it offends some of you but its not the end of the world. sell your xbox to a friend that wont use it online and go buy a new one. do something besides complaining about something that you had complete control over.

what really gets me is there doing it to be "fair"
just say your banning for "backups" "piracy" whatever, but nobody with the firmware mode is cheating...
If you just wanted a fair live
-Banned console would have access to silver privileges.
-You cancel the live subscription and stop collecting on services not rendered or at least make it easier to cancel
-How fair is it going to be when PC enter the Live Arena.Im sure that will work out well...
