Yep, I put in yesterdays codes last night and it worked fine. Gave them to my father who only tried to put them in to his box now. He thought I gave him wrong codes, gave them to him again from this site and they didn't work. Rang my mother to check her box and that's not working now either (she put in new codes last night too).

Doesnt really matter :) But would advise anyone to update their firmware just saves the hassle of constantly changing keys. In the UK they changed them 10 times in 3 days last week.

False alarm, I have just verified that codes have not changed and are still the same as yesterday's.

Strange alright but I have got about 50 mail confirmations that its fine, just press the default key and input the code again. Saying that if it is showing up as "no signal" rather than "codes been updated", it is a localised cabling fault.
BTW I am talking about N** Ireland codes.

Yep had similar reports of your problem this morning and the default key trick sorted them out, best of luck.

You will need to know if you have a clone or genuine
Please click the SV EV Info link at the end of my post to compare clone V genuine boxes.
You will need a null modem cable DB9F to DB9F.
Null modem info
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?criteria=L71BT&DOY=2m6
If your pc does not have a serial port you will need a USB to serial port adapter to use in conjunction with the null modem cable.
USB Adapter info
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?Modu...erial%20Adaptor
These two cable links are only for reference as they can be purchased alot cheaper on fleabay.
All firmware/loader can be found in the link at the end of my post marked Eamos FTA Library.
You will need the GTromloader V4, (Starvi*w Software Uploader), found in the Starvi*w software folder of the link.
You will need version 4.00 firmware for GENUINES found in "Starvi*w" firmware folder.
You will need version 2.57_FIXED firmware for CLONES found in "Starvi*w" firmware folder.
Updating Firmware
Connect your box and PC with a Null modem cable and switch on the cable box and put it on STANDBY.
(The Starview does not need to be connected to TV to update it with GTROM)
Open GTROM Loader software make sure that you set the correct COM PORT
that matches the one that is being used
Make sure App file only is selected, then click Bin File & browse to the firmware where you downloaded it to on your PC.
Run the GTROM loader by pressing Download and you will see the % progress increase
then Download completed message on your PC.

Celtic, thanks for that, but them frequencies are not orking for me. What codes are you using ?
Mine are 00 - 08 66 28 FB 36 AD 892B
01 - 54 F5 E9 C2 D1 18 70 46.
And my symbol rate is 6887Ksps, Constellation is 64QAM and Network Scan is disabled. Is this correct ?

Yes the codes are correct
Try do network scan to Enable and see if it makes a difference
Are you using the b0x from the main feed or a splitter ?
Also what area are you in ?
