Its a false positive. Basically it sees the program connecting to a server to download a update of some sort which is how viruses, trojans, etc. work and it thinks the program is malicious. Nothing to worry about, your A/V is simply a bit over zealous.
Are you stupid? It was the newest version of Blocklist Manager, so what the update do you mean? Think at first, and don't write bullshits, ok? For all the *bleep* lamers thanks in advance.
BTW. alarm of infencion was before installing and working of the Blocklist Manager, just during download!

Just because you're unable to get a simple program working doesn't mean all our viewers have to read that..

I've tested download of Blocklist Manager using NOD32, Kaspersky and Norton antyvirus software, and in all cases was the same alarm: file is infected. So, as you can see, I can't be responsible for your eventual mental limitation.
BTW Are you using any antivirus at all?

On Windows machines yes i do, i use AVG, and i don't get false positives with any of my downloads but i do know that certain antivirus programs do trigger false positives for certain downloads.
As to my alleged 'mental limitation', you can figure out what that is supposed to mean while you take a couple days vacation off the site due to extreme ignorance and inability to fit in with us grownups. Thanks for ruining what had been a very useful and constructive thread.

If your running NOD32, Kaspersky, and Norton Antivirus simultaneously your going to have system stability problems as the "core"/"kernel"/"driver" or whatever each company calls their A/V engine will conflict with the engine from the other 2 companies. I recommend choosing 1 A/V and uninstalling the rest. If you want to be able to scan a file with multiple antiviruses, use the website VirusTotal. You upload a file and it scans it using 30+ antivirus programs. It can be quite handy.
Website LifeHacker also did a article on a VirusTotal app that adds a option to upload a file to VirusTotal to your right click menu.
