Wayne,
Go to the site I have linked to in the first post of this thread and load the Channel Dump File that you can download form there. If you cannot do that you can also find instructions to do a factory reset to get back your missing channels.

Wayne if you dont find what your after let us know which provider you are using i.e telezest, N^L and so on, also your aprox location, then if the CDF is not listed in Daves site we can help you out.

Guys..can you please Help ......
I am a total novice and completly green so was looking to pick your brains on what to purchase and whats best , heres my question(s)
I have recently got a N*L / U*C Basic TV package in my home and have a chance of a SUPER STARVIEW 3 for £75 sterling .
1)What do i need to do to get all the channels working ;)
2)Is there SUPER STARVIEW 3 the best or can you recommend better ?
3)Do these decoders auto update etc if the above copmanies scramble etc.
I warned you i was green , and i am now thinking I am posting this on the wrong forum.

You are on the right forum all right.
Why are you going for the starview 3, has it been particularly recommended? I don't know anything about that box personally, but I would say if you are n*L dublin any box would do really. I use a replay lite and find it great and very user friendly.
You might be better off to try and source a box locally rather than getting one from england, that way if you have any problems you will have a local contact. Maybe one of the guys here would pm you if they're near you. City west, right?

No problem, i don't mind the caps myself, but some people can get a bit funny about them, so you're better off finding out at the start.

Mahockey,
The advantage with the Box Super is that the channels are always going to stay in the correct order. They are in the format 100 - 200 Entertainment, 400 - 500 Sports and so on. Same as on your digital box, so thats handy if you have someone else using the box.

hi everyone ive been away for 2 months can anybody update me i have 2 box supers one has ant in tv out the other which is the older one has not got them do i use different software if so which one for which box thanks

it all depends really
its to stop the rebooting issue the box has
if the box dont reboot leave it but if you have probs change it to which ever one suits like noel said 6.01 for the older one and 7.09 for the new ish one#

Hi
My starview the box currently lost channel.I did tried to scan again but 0 channels found. Please help me as I did try to reset to factory setting and upload it again but it doesn't work.
My API version is 4.50e_E Boot ver 7.o 5 Jul 2007.
Please help me to fix this as i tried a couple of time to automatic scan but still doesn't work.

Press menu, type 1570 on remote, press default key and scan again. Turn key emu back on. Make sure you have coax in the cable in socket from the direct feed when scanning.

thanx scouser for the help.i got all my channel back but its still scramble and i don't know why.but the local channel works fine except for the rest digital, s*y sports, movies, all scrambled.is it normal or i have to wait for a few while.

Have you turned you key emu back on? Menu, type 1570 and check it. Put it on Sly sports and wait a minute.

hi scouser
i did turn on the emu.now i'm at s*y sports.it running an update data but still on 0%.the update are a bit slower than before.
