ok i have swap magic cdr disk version 3 will cdloader work with this version. I have a ps2 v 10. i have downloaded 3 diffrent cdloader and still can not get it to work. i do what it says with swapping out and stuff and i just get a pink and blue screen above the swap cdr v 3 screen. i need it to play hot shots golf four can someone please help. and will the dvd loader work for this game. if so can someone please send to romeo68er@hotmail.com thanks. Please help me out desprite need

Ok if you have a version 9 or 10 ps2 with swap magic disk 3.0/3.20 build usa it wont work. get a dvdloader disk and do the same thing you have to with the cdloader. instead of loading cdr3.0 load dvd 2.0 swap magic disk then open ps2 with slider card or flip top insert dvdloader what for it to load the hit the eject button on the ps2 and insert swap magic disk dvd. wait for it so say insert ea method disk or something like that the use slider card / flip top insert game and press x and now you can play any back up game. thanks. it worked for me after i wasted like 9 cdr disk trying the cdloader. so dvdloader does work the same as cdloader.

hey everyone. i have been backing my games up and i have been able to see that they work by using CD LOADER even though they are DVD-R which is pretty cool. However, I got to my newer games like EVERYTHING or NOTHING and TRUE CRIME, and the cd loader will not work. I have a v4 PS2 so i have no options to choose from like the v7-v10 loader. I was wondering if DVDLOADER for V4 will help this problem. If so, will someone be able to send it to me? email is whoami2010@yahoo.com

there is a link a few posts up. eventhough anything under a v7 doesnt require options.

i just tried re-burning the games at the slowest speed and still no luck... wondering if v4 is too old? has anyone been able to play their everything or nothing back-up on a PS2 v4 using swap? i'm also using gameshark to load the cdloader, could that be a problem?

Sly, thanks for the link.
I'm brand new to this forum as I just got into PS2 backups and I haven't been able to find the DVD Loader anywhere.
Now I'm off in search of the Disc ID Utility.
I'll be checking the appropriate threads, but if you could ease my search, I'd much appreciate it.
Thanks again, this forum rocks!
Also, once I find the Disc ID Utility, I'll also need the Image Patch or the Disc ID Insertor, so any help with either of those would be great also.

I use DVD Decryptor for all my discs.

hey tried dvd decrpter to turn 007 into an image. burnt the image and nothing. the game goes from cd loader to black... wonder if my ps2 is too elderly... any ideas?

you don't purchase it. its the same thing as cd loader, but you burn it to dvd. use the link above your post to get it.
