I need someone to email me DVD loader for a version 10 PS2, I tried putting the cd loader onto DVD using the download off of the swapmagicfix.com site and tried burning it using Nero but no go. Im trying to play a backup of 007 Everything or Nothing and after the 3rd level it freezes, so if anyone would be kind enough to send the DVD loader to me, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks also, but the file you sent me is a rar. file how can i burn it to dvd and do i need to change it to iso. file or anything, as you can tell im kinda new at this.

use winrar (its like a zip file).

Hmmm
I first put in DVD Swap Magic version 2.0
Then the DVDloader and I open at again with the slide card (should I? or should I just eject?)
Then I enter Freedom Fighters and get a red screen and then it sais "PUT IN A DVDR BY EA METHOD" and I press x again and the game loads.
By doing this I get inside the game but now my game gets stuck while loading right before the mission starts. Anyone know what I did wrong?

swap magic dvd
swap for dvd loader
hit eject, insert swap magic dvd again
hit x
swap for backup
hit x
Depending on which version ps2 you have, you might need to choose an option in dvd loader. http://www.swapmagicfix.com

OK thx, that should work then. I entered the DVD instead of the swap magic again and it said invalid disc.

Thanks again, i used the dvd loader you sent and it works great! Just wanna know if it will work with all games that i'll have trouble with in the future or will i have to download individual dvd loaders for those games?

you shouldn't need any other version of dvd loader, http://www.swapmagicfix.com for a list of games that need it (it says cd loader, but its the same as dvd loader).

Freedom Fighters still gets stuck after loading maps :(
Why do I get a pink border just before the game starts?
I used Alcohol 120% to make and mds (or whatever the extension is) and burn it on DVD.
Is it because I used a DVD+R? I read it before that it doesn't work but other games seem to work fine with it

now that i think about it, a lot of people have trouble with freedom fighters, it might not work with swap magic.

I've tried the Beta5 and BetaV NO PN as suggested in other place but that doesn't cut it.
COuld this be because I used a DVD+R? I heard those don't work, but they seem to be working fine with other games and Freedom Fighters plays normal untill level 2

i'm afraid there is no fix for freedom fighters for swapmagic and the v7+ ps2's, the game contains 3 checks swap magic gets past the first one, cd/dvd loader gets past the second one, but then there is the third check

i have a problem with extracting cd loader. I got it from swapmagicfix.com and from http://www.geocities.com/jayteemaster2003/. When compressed, the file is around 550kb. When I extract the file, using Winrar, it doesn't extract properly. The file isn't shown as a winrar archive, and it's only 22mb. Can someone plz help me with this?

It should work, I can unzip it just fine and it's 22,7 MB (23.806.944 bytes) big.

so around 22 mb is the right size? And do I burn the BIN file which is 22mb or the CUE file which is 1kb?

Yea, after it is burned it's about that size I'd say. I didn't expect it either since the rar file is pretty small compared to that :p
