=/ i posted codes for Suikoden Tactics from GS2v3 .. wanting ot convert to v2
i have tried the guide from first page
making Master Codes from -
CB to Raw
Armax to Raw
GS3 to Raw
none of them is working
that's the master code i got from ARMAX F0381BE4 00381BE7
of course i added the Key Code on top . it still did not work
T_T what am i doing wronggggg ..
anyywa. if someone could relook at the few post before and could
i could use a lil help
Need M codes that work
and need Infnite SP and Money ^^ thanks again

no really I have to fight the boss in night mare mode to complete the game and get the extra ending and I need the codes for infinite film so if anyone could post the converted codes for Fatal Frame for me from Gameshark 2 versions 4 or 3 to Gameshark2 version1.2 it would be really helpful please

Okay...heres the deal, I tried the AR MAX codes converted to raw for Silent Hill 4 as well as g2v34 to raw and it STILL dosent work...can someone give me the solution or the code I requests, which are:

Hi Im new and looking for Final Fantasy XII Action Replay V2 Codes. I found a few on here a while ago, but I cant find them now. I had quick Exp and Quick LP. Are there any more??
I dont have a AR Max or Pro, just a AR V2. Can anyone please help me.

Greetings everyone, I'm new here and maybe a bit stark raving mad, but i have something to say.
While attempting to figure out how to convert GSvX codes to GSv5 i came to find out that (at least on my GSv5 broadband enabled which states 5.5 on the disk) if you leave off the first line of the v5 codes (starting with 760) they still work...
then i checked the differences between the v5 codes and the v4, and v3 codes on gameshark.com, and the ONLY difference is the 760 line... so i punched a few in for start ocean: Till the end of time, and left off the 760 line (so basically punched in a v3/v4 code AS IS) and it still worked.
ergo, v3/v4 codes ARE v5 codes (at least for the broadband enabled) just forget about figuring out a 760 line for it.
this ALSO worked for the master code.
if anyone else can try this out with their broadband enabled GS's I'd be greatly appreciative.
ok so a little update before i post this: i converted a CB v7 code to GSv3-4 and it worked on my GS v5 (broadband enabled)
there. i just converted code breaker to game shark v5. and you thought it couldn't be done ;\=
and lo and behold, it worked. flawlessly.
Something like this may work for M codes, ill check that out later.
now im gonna go to bed. i couldnt find an answer to this, so i figured it out myself. enjoy folks!
PS: i suppose this means you can now convert just about any code from anything into GS v5...
if its ok to post a tutorial on how i did it, i will. im off to bed now though. night all, and enjoy.

which version game shark for ps2 do you have?
therse 3, 4, and two 5's (one says "media player" the other says "broadband enabled")
and what codes do you want to convert? ie: what code engine are they from?

correct me if im wrong, but isnt final fantasy 8 for ps1?
if so then you'll need the gameshark for ps1 in order to get codes for it.
sorry. i have a copy of ff8 laying around, maybe theres a slim possibility i can force it to work with ps1 games, but i seriously doubt it.

sorry, i should have been more clear in my response.
what i meant was, you will have to USE your old game shark. you cannot convert ps1 game shark codes to ps2. its just a completely different code format. its undoable, to the extent of my knowledge. ps1 and ps2 games use a different memory storage system, making the two devices incompatable. basically the GS2 wasn't programmed to be able to work with ps1 games.
i wish i could help you more, but thats it and all about it.

unfortunately, based on my digging, it is impossible to convert any current master codes for those games to GS2v2. without a working master code, theres no way to get other codes to work.
this is because newer games use a different memory allocation technique, making older gamesharks and cheat devices alike incompatable with the new memory framework.
heres the M codes from GameShark v3/4:

thats the telltale sign of an un-convertable master key.

any master keys from GS2v3+ or CB7+ are incompatable with GS2v2's.
so, unless you already have a master key for those games,
you're most likely going to have to buy a newer gameshark.
