my gameshark cd says cheatcodes gameshark 2 v1.2. when i check it in the memory saves area after loading it in my ps2, it tells me gameshark 2 v5. so, my question is what master code and max gil code can i use for FFXII that will work? also, would this work on a loaded game that i started w/ out the gameshark or only a new game? thanks for any help in advance.

nrk4594, i like to beat somewhat dead horses, so follow me here. Im looking for GS 2 v1.2 codes for socom: CA. There have been a lot of codes for CA on here but none will work for me. so is there any way to get them? mainly the all badges code, or mission complete code. I also noticed that the only difference in gs2v4 and gs2v1.2 is that v1.2 has an extra line added to every code. so is there any way also to get that extra line so i can use gs2v4 codes for a gs2v1.2? thank you very much in advance.
ps: I also need to throw in that i think i have gs2v1.2. its like the one other people have described, blue with a big shrak, says cheatcodes on it. im not sure if that means it v5 or v1.2, it says 1.2 on the disc, but says v5 on the screen. just wanted to let you know.

Is there any way to convert Ar max to Gameshark with Media Player. Ive been searching for a while and if anyone can find really anything that can convert to my gameshark then that would be awesome! By the way, if you need it these are the ar max codes I need to convert-
NPM3-HJMB-HCBDG
VQ8N-YA0T-BHRW1
YCZ0-GB66-1J20K
WWTK-JK74-KKVX7
FGUY-7DCD-GPKEZ
2ZVF-U9GX-P15ZK
UN3M-UYTR-ATXHN
PQFF-6RHH-M6WHC
2Q8X-0FA9-NQQ70
GJU2-47RC-2YY2W
D2F4-U6G4-ZPKWY
F8D7-771E-TFPWH
Every code for this gameshark seems to need to start with the number 7 so if it doesnt start with 7 then its the wrong version.

[quote=Fuam]Okay, heres the thing, I finally found out out to make armax codes into raw, therefore it works on my GSv2, however, I have of yet to see a nice little tutorial about how to convert codebreakers into codes usable for the GSv2, and don't tell me its on the first page, thats the (M) code.
I have only two armax codes for Haunting Ground, while the code breaker have 12 of these codes, and I'm interested in some, like these:

I can't quite get the hang of the conversion program so i was wondering if anyone would get me codes for the following games
Front Mission 4
Xenosaga Ep. 1
I am using gameshark 2 ver. 1 i believe, but I am not quite sure on how to tell. I almost 100% certain that it is gs2 v1 though. My priority at the moment is getting Front Mission IV codes, preferably for infinate money (thats the only one i really really care about with the exception of the master code)
Either a post on this forum or a direct e-mail to me with the requested information would be greatly appreciated. My e-mail is zypher159@gmail.com
I could also use a description of how to properly use the conversion program found on this thread. I read the how-to but I got confused. TT_TT
Thanks for the help ^_^

Hey, I'm using a ps1 gameshark, version 5, and NTSC version of final fantasy 8, the codes that came already loaded on the disk are limited. I was hoping someone would know somewhere i could codes compatible with this version or how to convert others to be usable by it?

Is there a way to convert ARV2(Japan) codes to GSV2(USA) codes, to be exactly FFX codes, the weapons and armors codes.
P.S.: Are ARV2 and GSV2 the same, right?

yup. the same.
AR2v1 = GS2v1
AR2V2 = GS2v2
however for PAL versions of games
there are memory address differences.
as long as you're working with an NTSC title,
they should be the same.

But, the codes for the Japanese FFX and the US FFX are not the same. So, is there a way to convert between both.

it may be possible.
the reason the codes are different is because of the language of the game. different language = different text display so it moves things around in memory slightly differently to handle that...
[scratches head] if you have a ps2 emulator that supports making your own codes... that'd be a good option to make your own code set...
tell you what, lemme dig into this a bit, and ill get back to you as soon as i come up with anything firm. ive converted between PAL and NTSC codes before... ill look at the way the jap version handles its memory calls vs the us version, it'll take a day or two, but im sure i can bodge out something.

Debilitas is easy, but Daniella and Ricardo are *******.
I got two cheats working, the Master Code and the infinite item code. Be aware that the inf. items code work only if you have more than 1 of that items, so when you have 2. The minute you have two of an item its infinite, so KEEP your items, especially medalions, it become handy once inf ^^. Here are my codes;

I am looking for FFXII codes and noticed I'm not the first. I saw a few posted on previous pages and the one that nrk posted with the max gil worked which tells me I have GS2 v2. I can't find any other codes for this game with gs2v2. Anyone know more?
I tried using MAXconverter and was able to get the correct M code which is
0E3C7DF2 1853E59E
F045C190 0045C193
, but i don't understand how to convert other codes to gs2v2. Plus, my M code isn't the same as Nrk's which concerns me...
Any help would be deeply appreciated.
Here's the ARMax codes i found on code junkies. I also attempted to convert someone elses codes on gamefaqs, but that didn't work either.
