I used Sony, same thing I've been using for 4 months without a problem but I think maybe I got a bad torrent or something.

Nope. Never been banned from here. Only place I've ever been banned from is ps2nfo, cos I knew more about PS2 backups/DNA$ bypassing than they did. lol
You got banned though if I remember correctly.

You keep saying to try the DVDLoader, yet I tried it, and it still didn't work, even with DVDLoader, and a rebuilt image. I've heard it doesn't work on SM3.6

It works 100% fine with Swap Magic 2.0
For any other version, you MUST use ZoneLoader, NOT DVDLoader. No-one even mentioned DVDLoader!
It will work with ZoneLoader, as my m8 uses 3.6 & he got it to work. And he's not the sharpest pencil in the box, so I'm pretty sure the rest of you can too!

I tested about 24 hours ago before looking at the forum with ZoneLoader and SM 3.6 and it works perfect. If someone can't get it to work, your doing something wrong..

k guys i use my hd advance 2.0 and it doesnt load up and then i used zoneloader but then it frezzes at the scarface title. why? please help

As of right now there is no way that it will boot from hdd. As for booting a dvd backup, what media are you using and what speed are you burning it on? Check those two things, always use good media and burn at half the disc speed.

the scarface iso is 3.53Gb, I tried rebuilding it, and looking for the dummy files but there were none. Anyone know how to cut the size down without taking out and trailors or anything? or maybee the dummy files are named something else?

What do you want to cut the size down for? It works with swap magic and zone loader without rebuilding. Rebuilding it won't take out the need for zone loader.

I backed up scarface and its 3.53Gb and hangs on startup, i got past the Playstation2 logo but hangs on the scarface start-up screen. I think it needs to be rebuilt, and shrunk in size, anyone wanan help??

Alright guys, Burned it again onto a RitekG05 disk and its A-o.k, great game too by the way. I guese it was those shitty Optosic dvd-r's i was using b4. But it would still be nice to figure which file is the dummy and cut down the size of the .iso from the 3.53Gb it is now.
