Here are some things I feel need to be changed/addressed in order to ensure successful burns.

1. Nero API version: 7.0.0.0
Here the log shows that you're using the first nero7 release, which I believe was a bit buggy. Update to the current version 7.5.7.0, which you can get (for free) here;

http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/nero7-up.php

NOTE:Before you update to the current version, uninstall the old one using the clean tool found here, then install the new version;

http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/General_CleanTool.html

2.Recorder: <LITE-ON DVDRW SHW-160P6S>Version: PS09
Your burners firmware is a bit old at version PS09, update the firmware to version PS0B which you can get here;

http://www.liteonit.com/DOWNLOADS/ODD/SH...re/DR16PS0B.rar

The file is a .rar compressed one so you'll need a utility like WinRAR (not free) or use 7-Zip (free) to uncompress the file and be able to run the update. You can get the 7-Zip (.exe file) utility here if you need it;

http://7-zip.org/

3. CdRomPeripheral : Memorex 52MAX 325216AJ IdeChnDr Port 1 ID 1 DMA: Off
Make sure all of you devices are set to run in DMA mode, so enable it for all devices, here's a guide if needed;

http://www.onthegosoft.com/dma_setting_nt.htm

4. Last possible write address on media: 2298495 (510:46.45, 4489MB)
Last address to be written: 1842879 (409:31.54, 3599MB)

You should have shrink create smaller file sizes to keep from burning too close to the disks outer edge. To do this in shrink goto:edit--preferences, in the preferences section choose custom from the dropdown menu and enter a value of 4300.

5. Media Specific [16..63]:
00 60 00 10 20 30 40 50 - 00 00 00 21 00 00 00 00 .`...0@P...!....
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 - 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ................
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 - 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ................

and

CdRom0: SCSIStatus(x02) WinError(0) NeroError(-1135)
Sense Key: 0x03 (KEY_MEDIUM_ERROR)

This part of the log would suggest that the burner may be having a problem with writing to those RITEKF - 1 disks, so it applies a generic write strategy when burning, which may not always work. The firmware update should help with this, but if you're still having issues, you could try using verbatim disks.

6. Burn process started at 16x (22,160 KB/s)
Burn process failed at 16x (22,160 KB/s)

I feel you may be burning way too fast at 16x, try slowing it down to 4x for a while. The rule to follow is to try and burn at 1/2 the rated speed of the media, so for 16x disk you should try and stick to a write speed of 8x.

Give these suggestions a try and I'm sure you'll be burning happily again:)

Cheers.

How do you turn the burn speed down using dvdshrink? I think I am having a similar problem, but I can't find out how to turn the burn speed down.

Thanks
