What other one can I use I went through the threads to get a decripter but they all said it is not available anymore. Please help thanks Dan

along with guides. You'll need a program to remove DMRs too. Free ripit4me, DVD Fab Decrypter or pay for AnyDVD which has free 21days trial @ slysoft.com

Next time post a lot more info, like what you're trying to back up and any error messages you're getting.

This might also be a heat issue...are you getting an error message or is your PC shutting down during the encode process? Remove your cases cover and make sure your fans are operating properly and while you are in there blow out all the goblins.
