Um... yeah; that's why I listed above "Are there any other programs that our free (like DVD Shrink) that does the samething DVD Shrink does"... (meaning I understand DVD Shrink is Free and I want to know if there are any other programs that do the same thing DVD Shrink does).
Um... thanks.

Hi sgtgregg
Not that I can think of or have tried.
If you're having a problem w/ Shrink handling the newer copy protections there are some free opinions and you can still use Shrink with them.
Rip w/DVDFab Decrypter then open those files in Shrink.
Or RipIt4Me which uses DVDDecrypter, Shrink, and FixVTS

@sgtgregg,
Checkout shrinkto5, it's very much like DVDshrink but not as feature rich. You can read all about it here;
http://www.shrinkto5.com/

I've used it in the past with much success, it's very easy to use and can get the backup when other app fail to do so.

This is good stuff... shrinkto5 is doing its thing right now, but since I'm kinda new at this, what's next? I have DVD Dycryptor and Nero as well, how do I put it on a DVD now?
Thanks,

Once shrinkto5 is done creating the backup files you should now have a VIDEO_TS folder on your hard drive containing the ripped video files. Since you state you have Nero (hopefully an ultra edition), here are a couple of guides you can follow for burning the files to a DVD+/-R disk.
Burning with nero

or

NOTE: Just to make sure you correctly use shrinkto5 to backup your copy protected DVD collection:
ShrinKTo5 uses powerfull Plugin layer to backup copyprotected DVDs. So if you wish to use it for copying/backing-up DVDs that are copyprotected, you'll need an third party plugin (which is free). Pleae email themachinist2@hotmail.de. This developer will send you the needed DLL free of charge.

Great, thanks, I already got the plug in "Machinist2" so that's cool. I will try Nero now.
Thanks for your help, I'll let you know if I had any problems.

You said you have Nero. If by chance you have Nero Ultra Suite 6 or 7,then you have Nero Recode. This is by the same coder that wrote Shrink. It's a little quicker and better. But you will need something to remove the DRMs as binkie suggested.

Hey there soko85
You mean RipIt4Me? That one I learned about from arniebear at aD and playing with it.
Yes the iso will still look the same as if you ripped to a video_ts folder.
