I'll help anybody who needs PSP help but only if you've helped yourself first - Everything the scene knows is self taught. What makes you spoonfed n000bs special?
PROJECT EE IS A FARCE!! THE REAL SCENE HAS SPOKEN - n00bs with an idea but no coding skill does not make a firmware.

I have the same problem. On the solo mission, it locks up. I'm using HDLoader.

I fixed my problem. I just rebuilt the iso using genie expert V 1.5, and was able to start playing the solo missions using swap magic 3.6. I'm now testing to see if my rebuild works with hd loader.
It doesn't work on hd.

I have got splinter cell double agent working via the swap method with launchelf. It's not working off the hdloader though. however, i wonder if the same patch method for star wars battlefront would work?
i know indigo prophecy did something similar.. it got you to the language selection and video selection screen, they crashed after you selected. this is what happens with double agent..i get to the solo/coop - multiplayer screen, choose solo and it crashes.
i wish i knew how to make patches i would try it myself

Dunno how you guys have so much trouble with games. I've got BOTH the PAL & NTSC versions & both work fine with SM2.0
It can't be emphasised enough that using good quality media is a MUST with PS2 game burning.

After a few coasters I finally got to the loading mission problem fox27 stated eariler. Where do I download genie expert to rebuild the iso? or is that program even necessary? can I just use the traditional progs?

I rebuilt the ISO using CD/DVD Rom Generator, ISO Buster, and Apache 2. After one coaster, I did it again and filled in the missing disc/volume information.
I got past the SM 3.6 screen but then it just goes black. I'm fed up and tried everything suggested so far. Can someone just make a patch for the original ISO?

Everyone is having problems with this game. Usually when there are various problems with a game someone (DVDRick?) creates a PPF patch or introduces a file that can replace one in the image....and then everyone's problem is solved.
With my backup, it will sometimes just go to a black screen and the disc keeps spinning, or it will take me to the stage loading screen and freeze up (disc keeps spinning).
Does anyone know how to get our "request" for a PPF patch introduced to the powers that be to make it happen?

I have the same problem, but here's my scenario:
I have a modded slim PS2 (a Matrix Infinity if memory serves me right?). I got a copy of a SLES version of SC:DA, and since I live in Argentina and my TV supports PAL + NTSC, the game was in color but the image was not centered on my screen. I applied pal2ntsc y-fix, and it did the trick, BUT! It only affects the Solo-Coop/Multiplayer selection bit of the game itself.
My thought is that once you select, the game executes ANOTHER .elf file to run either Solo or Multi, and since the pal2ntsc y-fix only affects the MAIN .elf it doesn't affect the rest.
My question is, how would one go about to patching ALL of the .elf files with the y-fix option? I read the thread but I ran into a problem when trying to extract with ISObuster (it showed 1 Track, 1 Session and inside the Track it showed TWO Filesystems (ISO and UDF) and I didn't know which ones to extract to follow the other steps). Could anyone help out on this issue?

Splinter Cell Double Agent is a simple backup. Just read the game make a iso of the game then burn the game to a GOOD quality DVD-R. You can use a DVD+R but I have better luck with -R. Burn the game at 4x or 6x never fast than 6x. There is no reason that the game should not work. I have made several backups of this game and they all work find and I did not have to rebuild the game. I will give you a more detail guide if you would like.

No they're not. I'm about 1/2 way through the game and been online a few times, & still having no problems at all. Same with the majority of people. It doesn't need a patch or anything.
What it does need is burnt to GOOD QUALITY media!

There is no issue, the game works without any patching as long as its burnt correctly to good quality media, I've been playing this game since the day it came out without a single problem, burnt using Alcohol 120% and verbatim disks at 4x speed

All I wanna know is if the game can be used with HDLoader? I burned it to disc, and yes it does work fine, but lets face it. I'm lazy. I want it to work off of HDLoader so I won't have to swap it with swap magic.

There's defenitely something wrong with that game I probably burned over 150 games so far I always use the same media at the same speed I rarely have errors maybe once every 20 burns
I tried 3 different tpes of dvd at various speed and all I get is the menu option then the red screen!!!
