PS2 Fifa 2007 wont backup !!!

Hi, Im tryin to backup my Fifa 2007,only every attempt ends with the same result stopping at the loading screen before kickoff,i can see that the load bar has stopped at the end but the music carries on with no pad response,Ive used 3 different types of DVD, slowest speeds using 2 different programs with no luck,every other backup i have has worked this way.
Program:
Nero 6
CDR WIN 5
The same thing happened last year with fifa 2006 as well, every other game backsup very well except fifas football,
What can the problem be any help would be much appreicated. Thx

yes, i have the same problem..when i copied de original dvd...the game used to stop responding after the loading screen ...
Then i tried rebuilding...it made things even worse.....

So did you guys sort out your fifa backups, they just need rebuilding and they should work perfect, what are you using to play your backups, a mod-chip or swap magic?

Well, as with most all EA made games, you need to rebuild Fifa 07 cos its too big for Swap Magic to boot as a 1:1 backup.

My 06 backup worked 1:1, but my 07 required rebuilding. Anyone know whats the logic behind scarface, my backup doesnt load probably, in the combat tutorial mode, i start up swimming in the water instead of being on the actual platform, and the platform is actually not visible.

no the backup as with the others before it failed at the same point,the rebuild looks very hard is there an easy way??

The rebuild is not hard at all, when looking at it the first few times, it looks difficult, but in fact its very simple.

no my backup's still not workin....it strucks when the screen which says "press any key" is displayed.......
I m using PS2 Slim, so maybe its mod'ed with a chip...most of the games worked fine doin a backup....except BLACK and FIFA (06 WC,07)

Did someone ask how to play Scarface on ps2....Well all you need to do is download Zoneloader and burn it to a disc. Then put in swap magic and swap it with the zoneloader then swap zoneloader with the scarface game...so a double swap. Then it should work great

I did that, the game loaded up, but for some reason the floor doesnt exist, toni falls into the water as soon as the boot camp mission starts.

i have a prob with FIFA 07 aswell. i downloaded it (Using torrent app. of course! - BitComet) Extracted it and burned it. Then went to go to a match to play it, and on the loading screen it just freezes after a like 2 seconds. So i read in these forums about having to rebuild it etc. and i followed each steps carefully. Went to play it and got stuck in the same position. plz tell me what is going on!!! I didnt book type it. could that be a prob? I dont really know how to book type. ive used +R and -R for this game still same prob. My burner is "HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4160B" - LG Dus this allow me to book type. I'm new to burning ps2 games. I successfull backed up juiced. but having problems with this and gt4. My mod chip is "PS2 H20 MODCHIP (V1-V16)".
Sorry for the long post, i really want help!!! Anything will be appreciated. Thanks in advanced!

can someone please tell me why all the recent games ive burned do not load anymore with sm 3.6 on a ps2 slimline.all the games ive burned before and quite recently have worked great.some try and load,but start skipping and then freeze altogether.thank you

Well, you should try other programs, Also burn at low speed, 4X maximum. For Swap Magic, some times you have to rebuild the game. Could you say the name of the games you're having troubles with.
Experience is a wonderful thing. It enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.

oh sorry,ive tried burning them slow and its making no diffrence.the iso files are under 4.7gb.would i still have to rebuild?

Well, all the games you mentioned works with Swap Magic. So you should try burning them with other programs and at low speed. If you're trying to burn .iso images, the i sugest CloneDVD2, it's a good program do burn .iso images, even if its mostly used for movies. You have also DVD Decrypter or Alcohol 120%

how can you rebuild images on back, i'm downloading fifa07 right now, it says you need to rebuild the image, is there anyway to rebuild on mac or other method so it works, i'm gettin my swap-magic tomorrow, so i'm downloading games, i just finished downloading GTA: Liberty Stories <-- does this game requires rebuilind for it to play on swap magic?? thanks
