Making money as a PS3 gamer? Is it possible??

I know this is a dumb question, but I'll ask it in this forum.
If you were hired by a company to playtest PS3 games, and if you worked out of your home what would be a fair wage? If you are outside the U.S., name your currency so I can figure out how it relates to U.S. dollars.

There are a few companies that quality test games, but all of them require you to drive somewhere & play on their system, at their office. If $8-9 to playtest a game somewhere else is a decent wage, what would be the minimum rate of pay if you never left your house? If the PS3 has a somewhat open Linux architecture, the possibility of creating your own game goes way up. I can see in the future, gamers would be forming groups of people to test out their games. Most likely for a paycheck, so they do an excellent job.

being a game tester is not what you think it is, it not you jus play games with you riend or anything like that. you have to pay attention to detail and fix bug manually so you do have o go to school for this, but if you can find some tuts on the net on programming games and fixing bugs let me know.

yeah i sadly have to agree with that one guy with the missing keyboard keys. except that they will want some uneducated people so that the reach all different types of customers.

Yo a game tester is a hard job like you have to test and play every loop whole, crammy whatever hours on end. Not to mentioned you have to play the game like 10 times over just to get all the problems out with it wich cna get very, very boring. But a game reviewer has a easier job but is hard to get to be a reviewer that gets paid.
