ok i can probably count my local war mart out. sinse most say they will only get a couple. so what stores should i camp out at.. and how many do other stores get ?

go to Best Buy first if you have one near you they will have your best chance since Sony is maken a deal with them . they will have the most Target is not gettin alot and I dout if walmart will have many more then Target .

They're already lined up at all stores within 100 miles of me...
At the 24 stores that are opening at midnight Thrus, there are already over 200 people and they will not carry over 100.
I think your best bet is eBay or just wait until after Christmas. You should still try to get one Friday, I mean it doesn't hurt to try.
I honestly thought I was going to get one, but even if I camp out from now, the stores that will open on Friday morning will have 20 - 50. There are right now 100 or so people lined up at those stores. I don;t even get it. I mean the stores are open for business. They should make it so that no one can line up while the store is open. Also, how are these people going to use the bathroom?? Do they bring buckets with them??
Maybe some stores will force people to not line up until the store closes on Thrus.

I would rather wait then go on ebay sheesh the prices are going to be way to high for me. You know sony should of like sold 5 consoles ahead f time on ebay man they would get a ton of money from it...

Yeah, some of them went over $5000 with one going at $14,900 or something. The thing is that the Japanese ones are not selling, so it would only be US systems that would sell for more.
Once they come out, there is a small chance that there will be a flood and the price will not be that much more.
My route is, I'll go eary in the morning on Friday, and if I don't get one, then I won't get one.

no ones gonna buy a PS3 for $5000....
I bet the max anyone will go is $1000 )(maybe a lil more if desperate and rich) on ebay.
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

Damn, there goes my chance to make a lot of money. How could I have been so stupid when I saw what happened to the ps2. I called best buy and they said they wont have any more till march or may, WTF?
ps3 with 20gb hard drive
xbox 360 premium edtion with vga/hd hook up to my dell 20.1 inch widescreen lcd.
White and black 1.5 psp's
I'll take this down WHEN micro$oft decides to stop being lazy and make the capcom fighting games backwards compatible with the 360 dammit!!!

I think they mean that they wont have a steady stock until then. Sony said they plan to have 4 million shipped by March.

Well, I got screwed out of mine.... 3/4 of the shipment went to another store and I missed it by 6 people (of course the store only got 10 instead of 40).
I was actually out since 1PM the day before and didn't get one. There were people out there at around 5PM on Wednesday that didn't get one. All cause of that other store getting extra... Actually, I think Sony is to blame. I am pretty sure they shipped less than 400,000.
