i have a problem with shrink sometimes. this is what happens. DVD Shrink encounter and error cannot continue.programming error-excpetion occurred(that all it says). the movie is bring it on again. iam using dvdfab 3.0.3.5 . ripp it hd open file with shrink. error appears during encoding
this is and older title. i would think dfab should not have any problem with it.does not apper to be scratched but i did clean it anyway. thanks

i am going to run it through fixit and see way happens.

Try ripping with DVD Decrypter in file mode, then use shrink to do the rest.

Update . well its burning now i used DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0.

anyone know why dvdfab 3.5.3.0 did not work?

Here's a guide for ripping in file mode using DVD Decrypter if you need it;

Ripping in file mode will just produce video files containing a .IFO, .BUP, and a .VOB extension (these files represent your movie), DVD Decrypter should put these files in a VIDEO_TS folder. Once it's done just open the files using shrink and create your backup.

thanks for the guide.don't think i have seen that one before.i used DVD Decrypter many times before. lately have been only useing dvdfab that one has been great until this movie....


anyone know why dvdfab 3.5.3.0 did not work?

Here's version of history of the beta's for dvdfab after 3.0.3.5 - one problem fixed in the beta's was a corrupt data problem when the files were opened in Shrink.

i ran file through fixit then breezed passed encoding. burned ok
just to play around used decryptr then shrink all is this goood.
