Try cleaning the system with a registry cleaner then defrag and restart,once up and running disconnect from net and close firewall,antivirus,spy apps and anything else you don't need then try again,if none of that helps then more info is needed which others can use to decipher your prob

PearlMilk,
Shrink will do that when it finds encryption that it can not decrypt. Try using Ripit4Me or DVDFAB Decrypter or AnyDVD's ripper function first and rip the DVD to HD and then use Shrink to process the files

uninstall DVD Shrink clean your system using(CCleaner,disc cleanup and defragging) reboot and reinstall it.
since you have AnyDVD use the ripper ripping the file to your HD first then transcode with DVD Shrink and burn.
or try using CloneDVD 2 + AnyDVD this is your best option

you should be defragging at least once a week to keep you machine clean anyway. if you do it that often it won't take as long. good luck let me know how you come out

Revert to version AnyDVD version 6.0.8.2 at the site below. Alot of others are having the freezing problem w/ the updated version. See if that version helps as there seems to be a quirk in the program and some peoples system.

@PearlMilk
Follow Car.Mike's suggestion of reverting to AnyDVD version 6.0.8.2, it should solve the problem.

Go up to AnyDVD newest version 6.0.8.8. It corrects the Nero issues and may well fix Shrink also. I had trouble yesterday with Nero burning Rom and ImgBurn ISO files. Shrink may be affected since it burns with NBR. You have to rerip because the file that was ripped with 6.0.8.5 running, is corrupt.

I was having same problem, but I thought it was a motorola phone tools program that corrupted, so I deleted phone tools and used system restore, fixed my problem somewhat as I can burn from new dvd's but am not able to burn from copies I already have made.

I also have the same problem, for the first time after using shrink many times. What I did, was in shrink preferences, I disabled the enable burning with Nero button. It worked fine, but I miss the ease of automatic burning with Nero, so I will try the AnyDVD 6.0.8.8 trick and see if it works.

Sure, but I don't believe that AnyDVD is causing the problem.

Hey! Thanks man, I had the xxxx.17 version of Nero, I know I had issues with TPMGenc with the newest version of Nero so I had to go back to the older one. Problems solved.
