i am not an expert on using this software, i simply know the basics, but i am having a problem. lately any dvd i try to backup will start and then come up with an error message that reads...

dvd shrink has encountered and error and cannot continue.
Failed to read file "E:\"
the request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.

can anyone help me on how to fix this?! thanks!

Make sure the DVD is clean and scratch free it akso could be due to copy protection that Shrink can not handle. Below is a guide on how to use an up to date ripping program along with DVDShrink.
