so i have 2.71 hen-d with a ta-082(thx to whoever wrote the guide, its awesome)
and i wanna run NFSC on my psp without a umd(dont have 1), i have the iso file in iso folder in root. devhook menu set to the iso. then when i try to run the devhook fw emulator, it loads for a bit then says "the game could not be started(80120005)" did i do something wrong, or do i HAVE to have a umd or do i have to downgrade it to 1.5? or whatever?

sorry to re-post but i just installed devhook .51 can i now delete the psar dumper/devhook installer.
xbox with xecuter 2.6 CE mod chip with unleash X dashboard and 160 GB HDD
PSP FW 1.50 with dark alex's custom firmware!

yes you can :)

help me, im new here.. i already put devhook .43 on my psp, but if i open it, it saz thatthis game cannot be started. the data is corruted.

I have the same problem, but my psp's can't even see each other. I have devhook 0.51 beta, emulating fw 3.02, and i'm playin smackdown vs raw 2007. The ISO works good single player, but i can't seem to play my bro, who has a psp fw 2.82 and the game UMD.
Is this because devhook 0.51 doesn't support ad-hoc? Or is it perhaps my ISO or some other reason? Any help would be appreciated guys, cheers.
Has somebody an answer?

Hi, i have v2.71(not TA-82)
I can emulate 2.71 perfectly
I have tried non stop today to try and get 3.01 working
I have used the simple installed, everything worked fine, when i run DevHook 0.51, i can select 3.01, but when i click, it says something loaded and something about DevHook 0.45, then my PSP reboots back to the FW i was emulating. Any help? iv tryed doing it manually aswell, but i just get "DevHook is not in flash0"
Any help would be very much appreciated.

please help i'm stuck!!!!! i've just put devhook 0.45 on using the installer and it's changed the firmware to 2.71 so now i can't get the devhook to work. What can i do

amazing f.......g amazing!!! i have tried to get this 1.5 working with devhook for weeks it became an obsession i have finally cracked it i can back my umds up know i just want to thank every1 in the forums who have helped me to acheive this big up to all of you cheers!!![img][/img]

I have a 1.50 psp and I heard of 3.03OE-A and i want to upgrade to it I was wondering if i can still play all the 1.50 homebrew and still have the latest update version I heard of 3.02OE-b what is the difference of 3.02OE-b and 3.03OE-A and is it worth upgrading to 3.03OE-A and is there a risk of bricking? Or is devhook better? and what one is safer to use 3.03OE-a or dehook? I was reading around and i seen lots of people getting bricks when upgrading to 3.03OE-A what is better to use and most safest?

MAN PLEEAAAAASE HELP ME OUT !!! I tried evereything so far, all kinds of devhook, umdemulator 0.8c, fastloader, and generally all kinds of emulators.... I only managed to use the devhook though to play just one game.... I tried at least 20 different games, to play on devhook, but as it loads the firmware when my psp reboots, so i can play the game i chose, it freezes and i have to restart the psp!!! I tried absolutely everuthing!! i downgraded from 2.71 two weeks ago.... Can eneyone help me out??? Pleaaase im in desperate need of some help !!!

soo many questions but no one to ans!!!!!!any ways i'm using 23.03OE-A` so cant ans all of them!!guys using devhook i recomand moving to custom firewares for less trouble abt emulating!!!!
@bluelero-which fireware r u in?devhook is only for 1.5 and 2.71SE!!!
@schinis-eighter the ISOs r all bad or try moving to 3.03OE-A and check they work or not(u have the option to go back to 1.5 anytime u want)
@ZoneKill-man try few more ISOs to make sure its prob with devhook or iso!!!(i never used it so dont know wats the prob)
@rangie-while emulating 2.71 or any fireware with devhook u cant run devhook u have to restart or use the option to go back to 1.5!!!
@sinarades-its safe untill u know wat u r doin!!!(if u know wat u r doin then u can even do it with out easy one!!!)

well u can downgrade to 1.5!!then u can play devhook!!or u can update to 3.03OE-A` from 1.5 which dont need devhook to emulate games!!!
as i said before no other fireware else 1.5 and 2.71SE and 2.71too can play devhook!simply sayin in 2.6 u cant run devhook!!!

well u can use the search the option in afterdawn to search the dowegrader for 2.6 or go to pspupdates.qj.net / psp-hacks.com and search the downgrader or u may also update ur psp to 2.71 and then use the easy downgrader from these sites!!!try to read many threads abt downgrader to be clear wat u r doin!!

Okay, I played PES 6 iso (~830Mb) ad-hoc against a friend, so it works on devhook 0.51.01.
I will try to get another Virtua Tennis cso/iso to see if ad-hoc works.
But probably it are the .CSO files that often dont work for me.
I tried MOH Heroes cso didnt work, the iso worked even ad-hoc and online.
@ schinis: NO, its never 100% safe when installing Firmware, downgrade or even upgrade. But look at QJ or other forums for a success rate.
I downgraded from 2.00 to 1.5 with success.
I had a scary psp-brick-moment yesterday when I was running Brothers in Arms iso. Did load fine but when I pressed start campain or something psp crashed and screen stayed black. Holding the power 10sec restarting and displaying the blue screen and I had to set date etc. again...

i downgraded my psp to 1.5 (ta 081) worked fine installed devhook .51 and was emulating 3.2 fine then i tried installing another firmware and formatted my memorystick now i cant boot my 3.2 firmware i get the blue screen of death but i can still run 1.5 any ideas how i could fix this? i did som looking around and maybe its because the old firmware is still installed on my flash if thats the case not sure if it is how do i go about removing it? keeping in mind its a downgraded from 2.71 ta 081 maybe upgrade then downgrade again? i dont know.....could anyone help? i posted this on my own thred by accident im sorry but here it is in here

I tried to upgrade from 1.5 to 2.71SE and it was installed fine.... When i went to the game.... on my memory stick my psp allways freezed... so i downgraded again, using the recovery method... (thank god for that)... I tried again all the devhooks AND UMDEMULATOR as well as FASTLOADER.... but they still dont work.... they've started getting on my nerves now.... even some of the iso's that used to work, do work now.... Does anyone have an idea of what i can do?? Id preffer using the devhook because it also emulates any firmware i want....
