i believe the lastest is 3.2.0.15. there are no more updates for shrink

Make sure that your drive(s) haven't slipped in to PIO mode...they need to set to DMA, here is a guide.

I checked and they are in dma. what else could it be? should I still uninstall them and reboot?

I uninstalled the two drives and rebooted......it worked fine for one movie but when I went to do a second it went slow again..at the time I was only running AnyDVD and DVD Shrink

DVD Shrink 3.2.0.15 is the last version you'll ever see because the author of DVD Shrink has gone to work for Ahead (Nero). However, he has created a new updated version of DVD Shrink called Nero Recode.
