I've downloaded an ISO file in iMESH called MOHAA_CD1.iso.exe. when i click on the file a box flashes and then nothing happens, and then i renamed the file to MOHAA_CD1.iso and when i try to burn it with nero it says selected blocksize dont compare the image size or something like that, and i choosed ignore on that, and then when i have burned it the cd-drive cant read the cd and says probably damaged or not readable with windows or something like that. any ideas that can fix my problem? -sorry for my english- //optical(Sweden)

If you have windows XP you could go here http://www.xp-erience.org/ Go to free add ons on the left hand side and d/load power toys. There is a good iso burner in it.It will be in your start menu after you d/load it and reboot.

i used CDMage, and in that program u can see the "block-size" and when i burned it first time i choosed the wrong "block-size" in Nero, and in CDMage i can see the right "block-size" and then i choosed that in Nero and burned it, be sure that you rename the file to .iso (.iso.exe wouldn't work) burn it and enjoy the game!

Are you sure these 'game.iso.exe' files are not self extracting winzip files. In which case, you would obviously have to extract the .iso before burning. Personally, I've never downloaded an .iso from kazaa because as far as I know the kazaa software does not include .iso/.bin format as downloadable files. Only .zip, .exe and then video and image formats. So, I'm assuming they would have to put them in a self extracting zip file. If you are looking for straight .bin and .iso with out all the mess kazaa gives you, then I suggest using Direct Connect(http://www.neo-modus.com) I'm sure most of you have heard of it, but those of you that haven't; it's not as user friendly as Kazaa but it's better for getting ISO's.

I also have these files, and would like to know exactly what steps are needed to be taken to play the game. I just cannot seem to get the file to be a true ISO, so CDMage can read it. Thanks :)

I -think- I figured it out. It was a little twitchy, and still doesen't work.
GLimp_Init() - OPENGL Vendor string is NULL
I get that error (Gray screen freezes, CTL ALT DEL, then it takes me back to desktop, and I can see that in the Q3 engine, flashing in red)
Im running WINXP Pro, 64mb gforge 4 video, 256 RIMM ram, 1.6gig pentium 4.
Any help on this one? Actually, i think I fugged up on the whole process of burning it... *shrug*

i know how to do it!!!!!!!!! I did it with Rio Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4. I started it for data cd's, and using the prog, i clicked the .iso.exe file. Then I clicked file, and clicked make image file or something like that. It took a long time, but after about 20 minutes, it started to move. then it went faster. it created the iso, and now i just need to burn it. woo hoooo!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably, because it's a cracked version, you won't be able to update the game. The alteration of the executeable file makes the update checker unable to find your version. Atleast I guess that's the problem, altough I haven't tried my self. It is a common problem with cracked games.

Ok, I managed to change the file into an .iso, I've just burnt it, but now, the file which is on the disc is exactly the same as it used to be:MOHAA_CD1.iso.exe, so I cant make it work!!!!
Wow, it's little bit tiring...
Any idea?

First of all - all you need to do is RENAME the file from .EXE to .ISO. Second of all, you do NOT burn the file on the CD, but create a disc FROM the file.

Hi, am new to this forum. I also have the jedioutcast.iso.exe file from kazaa. I have Spongebob said but it just wont accept it as a valid file.
As for renaming it and erasing the .exe. I have tried that. It was the first thing I tried. Windows is still convinced that it is an application. How the heck do I change that? I can't believe that there isn't a relatively easy way to do this. Please help.
