I have had no past problems with shrink, then all of a sudden last night I was unable to do ANYTHING. I keep getting an error that says " DVD Shrink encountered an error and can not continue. Programming error-exception occurred"
What is this and how can I fix it????
PLEASE HELP!
Thanks in advance!

What are you using to rip your movies with? DVD Shrink alone cannot handle newer titles, nor can DVD Decrypter. The latest copy protections schemes require more horsepower than what DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter have...you need to use other programs to backup the newer movies.

You asked this question in your first post and I answered in my first post.

You still haven't told us what program(s) you are using to backup your movies.

I doubt you get anymore help until you become a little more forthcoming with the information requested. We can't help you when the only information given is "I can't figure this out". We need to know what programs you are using from the get go and need to know if you are using the guides provided.
Help yourself.

I'll do what I can. I'm not very computer savvy (well, I am to a point) but I need dummy terms,
I have AnyDVD, DVD Decrypter, Nero63125, I also have Rip it for me and FixVTS but I have never used those as I don't really understand how.
All I ever had to do was open up shrink, analize it then back it up, thats all! it would pop out the disk and tell me to put the blank one in.
I'm sorry if I didn't answer your question, THats all I know~

I would have to agree with gurnard about the people who are offering help. Both have helped me on numerous occasions. What is the movie that you are having trouble with?
If you were backing up older movies until recently and now are backing up newer movies that may well explain the problem you are running into. Since Shrink and DVD Decrypter are no longer updated, they do not work on many of the newer movies. That is why you will need to use DVDFab Decrypter or RipIt4Me.
If you are having a problem with a specific movie, tell us the name of the movie. It makes it easier to help.
