Do I have to buy Nero now with DVD Shrink

Hi everybody,

I've been using Shrink and Decrypter for a few years now but this last time when I tried to burn a DVD it didn't automatically do it after encoding. It has a hyper link for Nero that I don't know if it was there before or not. When I tried to use decrypter it said that it was too big to fit on the disk. Do I need to buy Nero to burn them now. I'd rather not buy it if I don't have to. Thanks.

No you don't need to buy Nero - from the sound of the error you would more than likely get the same thing w/ Nero.
Sounds like Shrink didn't 'shrink' it enuf to fit.

Any audios you can remove? I remove but AC3-5.1.

In Shrink go to edit>preferences and under target DVD size pick custom. Type in 4360.

What movie are you doing?

I don't even use Nero to burn movies in shrink choose burn with DVD Decrypter it works just fine you can set that up after you get ready to backup and you should disable Nero in shrink to do this

You can also use ImgBurn. Written by the same folks who wrote DVD Decrypter, I believe.

If you want to stay with the free then dl and install ImgBurn and use this with DVD Shrink, it is updated and more versatile than DVD Decrypter. You can set it up to automatically burn after Shrink, here is a guide.

Thanks all,

It was kind of short notice so I just downloaded the trial Nero and was able to burn it using that. I'm leaving home for a few months but when I come back I'll try using the things everyone suggested. Thanks again everyone.

BTW, I was trying to burn "The Simpsons Season 1, Disk 2"
