yeah its the new protection on the DVD . being DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter aren't updated anymore they will not work by there selfs

a couple things you can do

1. run AnyDVD behind DVD Shrink
2. download and run "RipIt4Me" (freeware) which combines DVD Shrink,DVD Decrypter and FixVTS

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/360110

or use CloneDVD 2 + AnyDVD

DVD Shrink will still shrink the file

are you sure the dvd isn't bad/scrathed ?

use the free 21 day trial of CloneDVD 2 + anydvd

theres a guide in that link for "RipIt4Me" so use that it should work fine.

yes you are doing it right as said DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter can't handle the newer protection by its self being it not updated.

or go the easy route and use CloneDVD 2 + anydvd

in "RipIt4Me" DVD Decrypter imports PSL files to correct the file then FixVTS removes all the bad cells etc. use the one click mode and it will do everything for you. just try it out

i run into this problem from time to time. What i do is run that decrypted file through VobBlanker. After VobBlanker has done its thing, i run that file back through dvdshrink & bingo your good to go. try that option & let us know if you had success.

i have used a different method this is it
1. use ripit4me
2. let the software do what it does
3. let DVD Decrypter decrypt the cd
4. run fixvts
5. run through DVD Shrink
That has worked for me so far so if i have anymore problems i'll let you guys know
Thank you very very much :)
