hello everyone. ok so i just bought a 46" Mitsibishi HDTV LCD and i hooked it up to my ps3 with an hdmi cable. my question is, why do the ps2 games look so blurry and why do i see so many squares? i thought that the quality was gonna be better because its an HDTV. but before i bought the HDTV i would play my ps2 games in my ps3 on a regular tv and it looked perfect. and the same thing happens with my dvds they look blurry . im a new to all this so i might have something hooked up wrong. so can anyone help me please . thanks.

no, u probably hooked everything up right... but ps2 games do look crap compared to the ps2 ... its not the settings..its ps3...they messed up with their compatability..they half-assed it so games look like crap and the dvds aare fine bec. its only 480p..thats the most you'll get..they don't upscale it yet, maybe in the future...but Blu-ray is excellent..

thanks for ur help . that sucks that its a compability issue, i spent a lot of money on my ps3 and my tv for it to look so bad, oh well hopefully they can do something about it later.
