I recently got a ps3 from Asia, but I can't play any of the ps3 games from the US. Can anyone tell me how I can unlock the regions?

Are you seruis, the PS3 is region free lol! You can't play US PS2 games on it but the US PS3 games should work just fine

Have you tried playing any US game? Oryou just wanted to unlock it befor you get a US game?

hey all on ,the JAp/US thing and region free,I am in NZ and have a 220/240v NTSC PS3 60 gb, even though PS3 games are region free does that mean PAL games will play on my system?????? ...sorry this question may seem elementary to folks out there
