ive been a pretty long time user of DVD Shrink, but ive been wondering, i know that dvd needs Nero to make copies of the actual dvd, but is there a way to use DVD Shrink with software other than Nero to burn onto a disk? if so is there some guide i can follow? thanks for the help.

edit: and i forgot to add, i dont want to go through making an image with DVD Decrypter or what not, and then burning it onto a disk. i want to know if theres a way to burn straight onto a disk without Nero.

yeah you can use DVD Decrypter to burn instead of Nero download here

Two first time shrink user/newbie questions...

1)Do I need DVD Decrypter to burn a DVD that's ready to go? Can I burn with Adobe Premiere elements, or do I need something else? (When I try to open my video_TS files to start the burning process, elements doesn't recognize any of the BUP or IFO files).

2) When I get to the backup part of the process, the backup options and burn settings dialogue boxes are grayed out.

you will either need Nero or DVD Decrypter to burn when using DVD Shrink . the other programs will not work. dvd shirk is set up to use Nero or DVD Decrypter only
