One of the default settings in ImgBurn is to compute the optimal layer break if no mds file is available that contains the later break info. Apparently, ImgBurn could not do do in this case for whatever reason. Removing the layer break is the default setting in DVD Shrink.
Is there a reason you used Shrink to rip? DVD Decrypter preserves the original layer break info in the mds file it creates.
If you're just backing up a DVD you own onto a DL disk, just use DVD Decrypter, especially if you have AnyDVD running in the background.
In ISO Read mode rip the DVD to your HDD.
In ISO Write mode, select the mds file for the ripped file and burn.
You can use the Build mode in ImgBurn to select a layer break. I think in that case a folder of video files may be required as input, but I'm not sure.
From your message, it looks like DVD Decrypter is the best software to use, but I am having trouble finding it. I have DFAB Decrypter, but when I click on the DVD Decrypter link, it takes me to a company selling AnyDVD... I don't see the product listed.
