You can buy external hard drives that work just as well as the HDD, but it would be a great hassle to take out your 20gb HDD and replace it with a 60gb. It would probably also void the warranty, so...

You can upgrade your memory by adding more.

Yes a "2.5" S-ATA one but youd have to be mad to open up a hting that costs so much dude.. just buy a USB hd there like for a 300gb like 220au 100gb like 80au

Do you guys have ps3's? Because it's actually easy to swap out the hdd's and doesn't void the warrenty. It only takes a minute.

yeah you can replace the the 20gb with another HDD and as big as you want. its pretty simple and easy and doesnt void your warranty. plus, sony even states in their ps3 manuaul how you can go about doing this!

On the left side of the PS3 there is alittle latch that pops off then you unscrew 2 screws and pull the 20GB hard drive out then throw in a 2.5 ATA drive pop in the screws and door and your Good to Go!
