PS3 Hard Drive?

Im just wondering if anybody tried so far to change the hard drive out with a newer hard drive. Something along the range of 400 Gb's - 750 Gb's. I just want to know for future reference. That way you can back up more of your games so they will not get scratched and you can preserve your games.

I have not tried this, but seeing as it is a normal laptop hdd (2.5inch, SATA) you might be able to just swap it out with another 2.5 inch SATA drive. Try it?

you can always just buy a 500 GB external HDD and connect it to the PS3 via USB 2.0. that's just as good and easier

nooo. at least not now. gotta wait till the emulator or something comes out for us to play the back ups. for now we can only rip them.
