Out of curiosity, did you used DVD Shrink's video quality settings (i.e. DA + AEC + Max Smooth/Sharp)? If not, then it sounds like you're having DMA issue. Try this DMA GUIDE to uninstall your drivers.

Best of luck!!

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

What I meant is if you didn't used DVD Shrink's enhancement video quality: DA + AEC + Max Smooth or Max Sharp, then it is likely you're having DMA issue. In another word, if all you do is hit Backup! and DVD Shrink is taking forever (i.e. 1 1/2 -> 2 hrs plus), then it must be that your DMA has gone into PIO Mode or OFF Mode. Therefore, DVD Shrink is taking long to transcode your backup. To solve the issue you're having, try this DMA GUIDE to uninstall your drivers.

Best of luck!!
