PS3 and my Samsung LN-S4051D HDMI not working...help!

Hello

i have a Samsung LN-S4051D 40" LCD 1080i TV and just got a PS3. When i hooked up the PS3 last night with the standard conenctions from the box (RCA) everything is fine. Today i went out and bought the ps3 HDMI -> HDMI cable and plugged it in and no signal is getting thru.

The TV auto senses the cable being unplugged if i unplug it from either the TV or the PS3, but while plugged in just says "Searching for HDMI signal"

Has anyone else had this problem? does this sound like a faulty HDMI jack on the ps3???

Under System tab on the XMB there is a display setting you need to change that to HDMI and 1080p or 720p wich ever one your TV supports!

or

re-connect ur ps3 with standard cable
then go to settings -> Display setting -> and u can change the output to HDMI ->

and that will allow the signal to go through
