Hello,

i have psone and ps2 and now i want to buy PS3 but it's price so BIG but i will buy it.

Now i want to use a downloaded backup games "ISO files" with ps3, i know that the devloper didnot develop a way to play the iso now in ps3, but about the hardware ,PS3 will updated it's hardware?

MEAN: in the ps2 there is more version present from version 10000 to 70000 ,my one is 50001a and it support the hddloader and network card then i can play a backup files.


what about PS3?

iso loader for ps3 is aspecting to come out some time after march which is when i heard the ps3 next shipment comes. but the next shipment might come with 1.5 firmware which means it wont garuntee it will work with the ps3 iso loader. but i say you should buy it. i already got mines and theres nothing wrong with it so far.

I forgot there is a way to load backups with swap magic, but u have to have firmware 1.31 i believe.

my understanding of the iso loader is that paradox is in europe (dont quote me on that) and they are waiting for the european launch (march 23rd) to release it. They say they need to beta test it still. Im sure since the eurpean versions of the ps3 will be FW 1.5 to start with so im thinking that paradox will crazk 1.5 before releasing it. just my theory.

This ones going to be good...Xbox 360 seemed easy. But the PS3 seems hard to do.

ISO loader insinuates a piece of software. For the xbox you have to disassemble the console, and rewrite the firmware for the DVD drive. Hmm seems harder for the 360, but only time can tell.

I say buy it trust me when you get it you will not stop playing it.The libary of games are coming starting March.All the people that has complain about PS3 are Microsoft Fanboys or people bashing the price.You can't bash something that you don't own.

You would be surprised at who owns one and who doesn't. I would say go for it too. I am pretty impressed with the console, love the fact its an open system. Just can't get the damned Fedora Core installer to boot correctly.
