I wanted to start this thread as a way for people to say nice things about other users. Since i started the shitlist thread i figured this was a good thing too.
i want to say, Dela you're doing a damn good job as a mod. every time i PM you with something, it's always taken care of usually within 12 hours. Keep it up man, you're just building a better foundation for the aD Regime ;)
Oriphus - thanks for the Ferrari dealer photos, that was a way cool thing to do. and since i blocked the grim reaper guy, i dont puke on my keyboard anymore, but i do kinda miss the dizziness.
Preator - hurry back man, you will be missed both here and on the IRC channel.
dRD and the rest of the aD staff - thanks a milion for bustin your asses to give us this kick ass site where we can make new friends, hate new enemies, learn a thing or two, and have lots of fun.
ok folks on yer feet, a round of applause for the AfterDawn staff please, without them we'd all be out scouring for crappy porn._

I know I am still classified as a n00b, but I would like to take a minute to say THANK YOU to everyone that has helped me out on aD and on IRC.
A great big THANK YOU to the staff of this wonderful website. Great job!!!
I learn something new everyday, but at the same time I also try to help out as much as I can.

Dela-the prime reason i joined the forum-
seein the qulaity of his repsonses--is still rrockin.keep up th good work man..
Tigre --on th eaudio channel--is also doing a great job--though audio channel visitors are far less than all the other Video/PS2 channels..
Praetor-one of the most helpful guys around..particulrly on irc..
1 day he isnt around -see wat happnd in uS and canada,,darkness all around..lol
darth-u urself,,great job...a guru with xbox stuff..,,hazza and others

With all the crazy off the wall comments I make I just appreciate people appreciating me.
And that's what this forum is about people making a difference in other peoples lives and accepting all kinds of people black white yellow, okay so we don't do stupid, but you get the point. It is very accepting to call this home for many of us.
We pull together make things happen believe and one another because in the end folks this forum is all about us, we the people and that is saying much more than just DRD, Praetor, Darth Dela and Me, it is about you all the reader.
As long as we carry one another on each others shoulders we can be higher than we would be if we were just standing on our own two feet.
I know it is back breaking at times heck I post every two weeks but I don't complain, and that aint easy let me tell you, but I do it. Why you may ask, because I love the people here.
This is a place where dreams begin and where they become reality.
Dela, Darth, Praetor, DRD, and I are nothing without you all here to support us day in and day out.
We see you all and feel your support. And for that we thank you and wish you a goodnight,good day, good evening and God bless, and God bless America.

hmm, i would like to say thnx first of all to those ppl who made this forum, dRD, Ketola, Waiski and any other admins i am unaware of ;-), all the other moderators who gave me a very warm welcome, everyone at #ad_buddies, and everyone helping out on the forum. We're like one big family, sure we have our fights and our bad times as phantom mentioned but we always settle and get through it like any normal family :-)
Oh BTW, I would officially like to announce my new "Darthnip for Moderator" campaign. No-one on the forum has pm'ed me more with guys to kick and warn and he is also the law on #ad_buddies and does a very good job at it! The official xbox forum moderator would be good :-)

After I finish med. school I don't think I will have a brain left to campaign. God knows I am dreading the long shifts I will be beginning in a few weeks.
Since we are talking about capaigning let me just take this opportunity to aggree with Pimp myster Dela in saying Darth is very dedicated to this forum. I couldn't think of a better canidate to consider for being a moderator right now.
Of course I am partial cause Darth always has my back, speaking of which, he has no doubt watched the back of this forum and contributed more than enough to make consideration for modertator a no brainer... In my books he is a moderator!
Plus, anyone who likes a lotos, obviously has true taste!
I would emplore the afterdawn king and powerful administration to grant Darth his rightful place as a moderator of afterdawn.

Darth by the way Kevin says hello.. He said something about being grateful for your help with showing him how to empty the recylce bin on his PC. Said you would understand what that meant.
Oh and Dela, Kevin said he was sorry for idling on ad_buddies for so long the other day. Next time he said he will pay attention to the channel and talk more with tom.

Gosh no.... this 56K seems much more reliable than my DSl.... AD loads up in the same amount of time or faster.... dont ask how that works. Also, now i can actuall ping my ISP without timing out! And my yahoo.com pingtimes are less than 4500..... grrrrrr DSL

Maybe for viewing internet pages you find it ok, but for downloading, i know for sure i cant get speeds of 75k downloading from a 56k modem!!! I can with my DSL.

Also thank Oriphus and Dela for their help. Good guys out there.
And the side topic 56k is faster then my current 28.8 but it is my only connection method today. The hospital was down with the blackout problems. They actually expected to hold all the computer needs with one server. We normally have six and they are normall always at maxed. Silly RIS people.

Hmmm funny how this forum has changed topics but since we are on the modem/internet topic I will just break it down really quick.
Rank in order from worst to best:
56k-->DSL-->Cable
I used to think DSL and cable were neck and neck but Cable rocks all the way around not just half way like DSL and dialup.I will never go with anything else unless of course T1 connection or something of that sort thing becomes available, for a price I can afford!
Okay now back to forum topic, I just want to say Dela rocks and is doing an awesome job as a moderator.
