launching dvd shrink - problem

Lately when I launch DVD Shrink it takes a long time for it to open. Sometimes up to 5 minutes later. Anyone have any ideas what could be slowing it down. This does not happen with any other program I use.
CPU specs:
win xp
p4-3ghz
180gig hd
512 mem

lol - as I am typing this Shrink just opened up. This one took about 8 minutes.

I would uninstall it, run Ccleaner then a virus scan. Reboot and reinstall. See if you get any joy.
