I purchased the HDMI cable today for my Insignia HDTV and it says to press the input button until i reach the HDMI station but it says "no signal". I tried it with my Xbox 360 using the colored cables and it worked fine. Any suggestions?

try to connect the regular componant cables first so that you can go to the setting of the ps3 to change it to HDMI mode. then go ahead and change the input of the TV to HDMI and it should be there. give it a shot.

I think you can also hold the power button for 5 seconds and it will auto detect.
