I think right now at least that the words Vista and Burning are oxymoron's. I am unaware of a program that will do it. I am HOPING that ripit4me will do so soon.

Arrrr...that said I will not be switching to vista any time soon. I will be going linux way before that time comes!

To answer your question YES you can use vista and still burn dvd's.
I just got new pc with Vista and burned 2 dvd's with it using dvdfab decrypter,DVD Shrink and Nero. I had no problems at all.

I had no problems with any of my usual burning, ripping, or re_authoring software either?

What program won't work?

Here is what I have and work fine

Nero 7 (enhanced)
CloneDVD2
AnyDVD
DVD Decrypter
DVD Shrink
RipIt4Me
and a few others.

Now with that being said I still wouldn't run out and buy Vista if I were anyone here. It isn't worth the money and there are far more glitches and hic-ups than you can shake a stick at. XP w/SP2 is still much more stable. Unless you just like messing around with computers and have an extra one to throw Vista on I would not recommend anyone install this on there main system at all (not yet anyway).

I have Vista and these are the steps I use.

1. Decrypt with DVDFab.

2. Compress with CloneDVD2

3. Burn with IMGBurn.

I have seen Nero 7 Ultra which is Vista compatable, but why spend $100 when IMG is free.
