okay first question is... can i play the ps2 final fantasy online game on my ps3 using the ps3 hard drive??? i mean i downloaded that hard drive compatible thing off the playstation store so i was wondering if i can play the ffo game. please i need a quick answer...
number 2
my tv is a 72 inch widescreen and i think the resolution is 1080 because i can only play the 1080 on hd... if its 1080, does that mean i cannot play any other resolutions. cause my other games wont work. like resistance and stuff... please i need these answers lol. laterz and thanks.
You should be able to get online with Final Fanasty, I get online with Socom 3 with no problems, and as far as your tv you should be able to play all games if your tv supports 1080, your tv should automatically adjust to 720 or whatever the game is. It may just be a settings change on your tv.
THATS CRAZY BECAUSE WHEN I DO SET IT TO HD, THE PS3 SHOWS WHAT RESOLUTIONS I CAN PLAY. AND IT SHOWS ALL OF THEM... BUT THEN I GET THE SAME PROBLEM UNLESS THE GAME PLAYS AT 1080...
well i got a 72 wide screen ummm what do u need to know and ill try to find out ... all i know is that the ps3 says i can play all these resolutions but it only works on the 1080i 1080p
1st answer to your question, yes ps2 online game should work on the ps3, its backward comp., also the server you are signing into is not reconizing it being PS3 or PS2, the games id is what tells the server its ok to connect,basically...
2nd question, when playing other formats make sure the tv itself is set to play other formats. I haved worked for cable and sat for bout 6 years, and one thing I notice on some tvs with HD capabilities is that there will be say 2 HDMI or 2 or 3 Components input spots, on each of them, there usually is a label of what format it will handle through that input. it'll be like 1080i,1080p and maybe one more, the other input might be different. What I would do,if that is too complicated to follow, however your connected, either through HDMI or ypbpr slots, try connecting to a different input and try the game again in a diff format, or whatever format you are trying to achieve... Anyway I hope this helped some.... I am assumming a 72" HD widescreen has muiltiple inputs, maybe 2 HDMI,2-3 YpPbPr inputs,an optical input,DPI, mabe a dvi input, 2-3 component inputs, and a usb service port.......sound bout right? j/k
