I made a backup of "Gears of War" using Xbox Backup Creator...

Thus far I have had no succesfull writes to disk, with a problem arrising each time. I am not sure what I should do.

What I have:
- Xbox Kreon FirmWare flash
- Samsung Drive (SH-D162C) Flashed
- Xbox Backup Creator
- Schtrom
- Verbatim DVD+R DL (AXO)
- DVD Burner - See Below
- ImgBurn

It appears I have 2 optical drives on my notebook pc...

ssue_1_2005.pdf (I have the TOSHIBA M40) it said it can support dual layer disks, I am guessing it works fine... and I have already copied a game succesfully to a DL disk before (Gears of war once again), it booted to the Microsoft Intro then exited.

Below is the screen I am shown before burning th .dvd file.

The .dvd file has had the layer number taken out and just has gow.001 - I put the layer break number into the imgburn settings.

Take a look at this and tell me what you think...

did u try not using the .dvd file and just burn the image file directly. also why is your Gow .001? usually it is .000 or .iso i have never seen a .001 maybe that is your problem. but i don't think renaming it will help. try my first suggestion, and cross your fingers you dont get coaster.
