Shrink burns blank DVDs

Hi, I've been using DVD Shrink for a long time with no problems however, I just built myself a new computer as my old one needed so much replacing. The fan on the PSU was making horrible noises and the CPU was running at 78 deg C while doing nothing so I built this:

AMD Athlon X2 5200 dual core 2.6GHz
JeanTech Storm 700W PSU
abit KN9 SLI motherboard
1GB DDR2 800 (single stick)
320GB SATA 3GB/s HD (others installed, total of 0.5TB HD space)
NEC ND-3550A dual layer DVD+/-RW
SoundBlaster Audigy Platinum 2 eX
ATI Radeon X1650 Pro 256MB GDDR3 (PCIe x16)

The details for software/drivers I'm using:
Windows XP Pro SP2 (fully updated)
Nero 7 Premium v7.2.7.0
DVD Shrink v3.2
CopyToDVD v3.0.3.9
DVD drive using MS drivers v5.1.2535.0 (01/07/2001)
DVDFab Decrypter v3.0.8.0
DVD Decrypter v3.5.4.0
Mirror DVD-R 8x IJ printables ("DMR18-MO 12325I1 02" written on DVDs)

I've been through device manager and all drivers report as working although finding I can't remember how to find out the firmware revision of my burner.

I tried backing up two movies yesterday using the same way I have done in the past - rip using DVDFab Decrypter then shrink and burn (movie only) using DVD Shrink. When I went to check them in the DVD Recorder (LG DR175) it complained that the DVDs weren't recognised. Inserting them back into the PC I was unable to open the discs at all in Windows yet a tooltip in "My Computer" shows they're both empty!?

I tried burning the movie files to another couple of DVDs using CopyToDVD and they burn (and play) perfectly fine.

This setup has cost me a LOT of money so you can imagine I'd very much like to get this working as before. Instead of using 3 programs to get a result I'd like to use only 2.

This is not a DVD_Shrink problem.
Can you post the Nero log?

Apologies, I thought it was although I do know it uses Nero for burning.

What part of the log shall I post? I just checked it and it's 33KB (876 lines)

I can upload the whole file to my web space and post a link if you want?

UPDATE:

Followed a post/tutorial in another thread by PacMan about using RI4M and burning via DVD Decrypter - failed due to write error. Thought I'd open & burn the ISO file using Nero and it burnt (and plays) fine although burning files created by Shrink via Nero still fail :(
