Check the normal sites/channels people...(crosses fingers). Keep this thread updated as I have to leave to do some network stuff for a customer.

Is an .iso loader coming out? I thought it was rumored to be hitting the net in about a week...
Any info would be helpful.

We were going to report on this last night, but we wanted to 100% confirm it first ourselves after someone who wishes to remain 'anonymous' on iRC EFNet #PS3News dropped in to tip us off. A teaser video will be posted shortly, followed by a longer video and complete walkthrough as well. Keep your browsers pointed to www.PS3News.com throughout the rest of the day, and you'll be sure to catch the latest news as it's posted right here!

Quote: Update: Sorry for the delay, we ran into video editing/encoding issues. Anyway, those interested can check out the video below (we aren't doing a teaser and a longer video, just the one due to time constraints).
Here is the world's first video (FYI: it has no sound) which displays the bypass method for the PS3's Firmware Version Check! This opens several doors actually, for starters:
* Confirmed: You can now play PS3 games on-line, without updating your current PS3 Firmware!
* Confirmed: You can now access the official PS3 store without updating your current PS3 Firmware version!
* Although not tested yet, you may be able to downgrade the PS3's Firmware through this circumvention technique.
* Although not tested yet, you may be able to 'install' your own desired PS3 store items using this method.
A Tutorial on how to do this will be posted shortly HERE as well... stay tuned!
Taking from www.PS3News.com .

I had to hide it as I am not sure if he wants his tutorial to be posted outside of the place it is posted (I did not see an authorization for it to be used elsewhere). So for now it is there just hidden, waiting....

Nice...
but I have 1.51, so it's useless for me lol.
Expect another firmware update with an added feature of "compatability list for PS2/PS1 titles improved" tagline.

go ps3news.com for a video. But after the tutorial do you go into system update or something?
In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present.

NO! Do Not Update! Just go online or to the PS Network once you have everything setup.

It's amazing how I set up my cable network to work perfectly. I have the modem then wired router, then a wireless hooked up to that which is shut off at night. Mine worked perfectly right away. My laptop is on the wired network and my ps3 is on wireless. Idk how i do, but this is awesome i have been playing online all night.

lol...rub it in...jk..seriously though how did you set up the PS3..
I believe I followed the Simpledns guide to a t...
Ip Address------ do I put the ps3 ip on my network 192.168.1.102 or the host pc with simpledns running; 192.168.1.101 ( I do that and I get the double Ip error in windows)
Subnet Mask---- 255.255.255.0
Default Router---- 192.168.1.1 (my routers IP)
heres the fun
Have tried the following
Pimary DNS----my ip I get using the site "MY IP" 68.105.x.xx or
Prim DNS I find in my router set up 68.109.xxx.xx ?????
Secondary I tried none and tired adding the host pcs IP....?????
Anyone any help.. i WILL NOT STOP until I have done this... I have been working on this all day... I have drank 6 Red Bulls...*cough* I feel like a crack head right know....
