get accainted with all the sniping maps, find good sniping spots, then learn how to move and aim and jump and aim and aim doing just about nething. that should help.

Thanks. what is the best sniping weapon the covenants or the marines? I use the carbine to snipe sometimes at close combat.

The Human sniper rifle is better than the beam rifle, its more powerful.

I just had thought, Halo 3 probably wont be out for a couple of years. Were going to run out of things to talk about, im mean its only been 6 months since Halo 2 came out, and people already have no more to say about Halo 2/3.
Anyways what would you guys like to see in Halo 3? I mean new abilities, weapons, vehicles, stuff like that.

they human sniper is way better because you have 24 shots and the beam rifle you can only get 18. it is nice to have both snipers in a game though. what i do to practice dry sniping is i start a game at lockout by myself go up get the sniper and run around trying to hit all the barrels with one shot. the ones that explode i use that for practice if im going to do campaign becuase it loads faster if you got dry snipe for like a min then go load the campaign. way better.

I heard that the new upgrades for halo 2 made the weapons much stronger like the covenant plasma shots and made some weapons weaker like the pistol is that true.

yes it is very much true. the smg is stronger and the plasma pistol is weaker and melee only takes 2 hits and the plasma rifle is weaker. thats what i heard.

Halo 3 on the List!
Hey guys I think you might know this already and I really ment to post this up days ago but I forgot but here it is. I went to gamespot.com and I saw that the xbox 360 page was already set up. I then deceided to check the list of games for the xbox 360 and I saw that Halo 3 is definately on the game list but the realease date is still TBA. Other games for the xbox 360 include splinter cell 4 and fable 2. There are also a couple of game previews there for the xbox 360. And the Ps3 page has also been set up at gamespot.

ok, i think we all already knew that Halo 3 was coming out. Otherwise I wouldnt be on this forum, and i would go set fire to Bungie Studios. lol

No, none have been leaked or released, its still a minumum of one year away so doubt there would be any screen shots atm.

It would have been better if they would have had a litte more time to get into things. 30 mintues previewing the Xbox 360 and game coming out for it was not even close to enough time! I was pretty dissapointed as well!

I just had another thought, bungie should conclude the Halo story with Halo 3 but after that wouldnt it be cool to have them go back and do another game set before Halo 1. Like back when the covenat first attacked humans. NE one else like that idea?
