yeah, good idea. That would just be stupid to go all the way back to the start. but instead they should bring out like a little short prequil vid or something like that.

Actually I dont think that would be coo because u would be going back in time. U would have less advanced armor and weapons.
Does anyone know how there is gravity on the ships in halo 2? I think it said something in one of the books about some ships having rotating sections to enable a gravity spin, but on ships like the pillar of autumn there is no spining thing. And what about the Cairo it just sits there in orbit.any one have any thoughts?

They used gravity plate technology for years to make operating ships long-term easier. Old types of gravity-simulation were basically large cylinders in the ship that rotated, simulating the spin of a planet, and therefore creating a gravity field.

it is in the year 2552 im pretty sure they would have found a way to make gravity on a ship. its not like there isn't anything makeing the gravity. like the book said they probably have a cylinder making the gravity.

U know bungie is gonna make another halo game after halo 3 bc it has become aa great franchise. bungie just cant go off and make a crap halo game and mess everything up.

Personally, I still object to the idea of Halo 3 being on Xbox 360.
Bungie did something I thought they would never do...abandon us.

Why do you people keep saying Bungie is a traitor, did they go to another console? No. They put it on xbox 360 because they will be able to do more things. If u hadent noticed in halo 2 their were some cut screens that could have had much more load time done. Bungie is just goin along with the flow of things.

I think the xbox 2 name is lame. xbox 360? Whats the 360 supposed to stand for. what happened to the name Xenon, or even somthing else like um xbox 2. Even that is better than xbox 360.

Strangley enough the .swf flash file on www.xbox360.com is called Xenon. Hmmm why would they still use that code name after the reveal.

the reason they went with xbox 360 over xbox 2 is because putting 2 behind the xbox name will still seem as if the system is behind the ps"3". Get it! so with the xbox "3"60, it seems as if it is on par with playstation.
I like the prequel Idea. I think they should end the current Halo Story with part 3. Then after that point there should be some spin-offs, like halo: the Beginning (where the story revovles aroud the conevent envasion and the beginning of the Master Chief), Halo: The Rise of the Conivent (Where you play the part of conevent and the beating of another Alien Army before the attack of earth), Halo: the Destruction (based on the destruction of the spartans), and so on.
Doing this will keep the story fresh without weakening the story

I agree with deepzp1 it would be kinda cool to run around as a grunt or other covenant creatures to see through there eyes but it soon will get old though and soon get boring then everyone will go back to the original a halo2&3

Bungie isnt the one to blame bc MS bought Bungie or gave them a ton of money to make games for xbox and only xbox. I still think bungie shoulda just made halo 2 the final halo but w/e. u would have to assume MS told BUngie to holdoff halo 3 till after Xbox 360 comes so that the new console would have at least one frikin awesome kik a$$ game.

And mkaseatgb I think the name of the xbox 3 will be Xbox 720, then probably xbox 1440.

Well, its not like all of the complaining about the name is going to change MS's mind. 360 probably means that they did a completly new make over. The 360 looks nothing like xbox. If the new xbox lookd like the first one then im sure u would have xbox 2 but u dont oh well. The xenon seemed stupid when it was first leaked. Why would MS give up the name xbox? It makes no sence. For people on other sites saying how much it looks like a PC, what do u expect, its the present ppl stop livingin the past. As long as it plays im fine with it.
Now back to halo 2 and 3. Where is the Gravemind located at any ideas? It looks to me like he is right under the library but i cat tell.

If ur talking about that rock monster thing that took the mc under the lake after the mission Delta Halo then he is in the covanat holy city, High Charity. It shows him there in a cutscene that you can see after the credits roll at the end of the game. He's there with cortana.

I think he just wants some info from coratana and if she was smart she would give him the info so she may get some info in return if that makes sense. I dont know about gettin her back thought cos as far as i know only mc can upload her into his suit, but maybe another spartan might drop in to get her cos they should include other spartans in halo 3 otherwise is would just be disregarding the things in the books, that there are other spartans.
