Y when I convert a .avi movie to dvd using ConvertXtoDVD it doesnt want to play right on the ps2 or ps3 it shows but it skips, and when i put it on a stand alone dvd player it plays fine, so does anyone know, or does anyone know what software to convert the movies with so i could play them on the ps2 or ps3, thanks

I use this program to convert all my AVI to dvd what burn speed do you use? try to burn at 4x & see if that works.Or use good media like Sony or Verb's

i have the same problem . i tryed burn them with 5 or 6 diffrent programs at all diffrant speeds . skips on ps3 and ps2 fine on standalone player

ConvertXtoDVD works fine for me. I just convert with ConvertXtoDVD and then burn the dvd with Nero.

when u burn with Nero do u recode or just burn, cuz shit i have to try that, i didn't try that
