Hi i have just got my ps3 and updated to 1.7 and would like to find out if there is a way to put psx games on the hdd and play them without having to download them from playstation store, as i dont want to pay for the games again just to have them on the hdd

you can but the format hasnt been fixed on the games to beable to play on the ps3 yet.....DOnt know why they added that firmware update when the games aren't ready yet....

Yeah That upset me cuz I bought a game just to test it out, and it told me to connect my PSP. why didnt they say that SH*&% if it wasnt ready before they had folks try it out; setting them up for failure?!?!?
Why wasnt that posted in the same notes and whats instore for the update?
my bad sony if it was posted somewhere, but you need to make that more visable next time.
